No cancellation fees at all. You can cancel or change your reservation ( 15 ) fifteen days before. At least 15 days before the pickup date by e-mail or telephone with no charge.
Yes, we can arrange for that, as long as you inform us in sufficient time, especially during high season.
All renters must hold a valid EU or International Driving License, issued at least two years prior to the rental. Photocopies are not accepted.
The renter must be minimum 23 years old for car groups A, B and 25 years old for all other groups 27 years old for mini-van. A driving license to be valid the renter must have it at least two years.
Yes, an additional driver can be added free of charge.
The only requirements are that any additional driver must fulfill the terms and conditions of hire and that they must be declared before the hire period begins so as to be covered by the insurance.
Child car seat, for all ages, is available free of charge. All you need to do is claim it upon booking.
Yes, our fleet includes cars, with an automatic gearbox. We can also provide you with other automatic cars of your choice just contact us.
Hermes car models are according to original planning. Hermes cars in categories can be changed with cars from the same or bigger category. Delivery problems however, may compel us to supply another vehicle in exceptional cases.
Your rental quote provides you with everything you need to put your keys in the car and go. Hermes cars prices include the following insurance:
-Theft Protection
-Third Party Liability insurance.
– Fire insurance. ( in case of Fire you must contact the police and report the incident immediately).
-Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).
If I choose the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), does it cover me for all damage that may arise?
No, there are certain types of damage that are not covered:
damage to the underside of the vehicle, the wheels and/or the tires. Additionally, damage caused by the following activities is not covered: driving on rough terrain, towing of
another vehicle, transport of explosives, racing, etc.
You can also choose to add Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW). NO EXCESS
a) Not covered by any insurance collision damage caused by alcohol or drug or abuse as well as traffic law violations.
b) The car is driven illegally by somebody else.

The keys of all the vehicles of HERMES RENT A CAR are immobilizer. For each vehicle key, there is only one spare. In case the render loses his key, he must immediately notify HERMES CAR HIRE in order to receive a spare key, without trying in any way to start the vehicle. The render is charged with the cost of making a new key. HERMES CAR RENTAL is obligated to deliver to the render the relative receipt from the vehicle manufacturer’s agent.
The render must notify HERMES RENT A CAR in order either to send a locksmith to open the vehicle or to send a spare key. The render is charged with the cost of the visit of the locksmith or the dispatch of the spare key.

Hermes Corfu Pick up Car and Delivery
You can pick up or drop off the rental car 24/7. Currently, there is a charge for out-office hours for delivering or collections of cars between 22:00 – 08:00.

First, you should call us 30 minutes before coming to the port. This is necessary in order to be on time. We will meet you at the exit holding a banner with your name.
You will return the car to the same location you received the car.
Yes, there is. Many fuel stations are located across Corfu Island. Upon drop-off, the rental car should have fuel at the same quantity as received.
In gas stations, an attendant will fill up for you. Just say how much you want in Euros, or say “Full!” You don’t have to tip for their service.

No, you don’t.
You can contact us and we can arrange for you keeping the car longer if it is available. You will be charged the usual rates for extra days. In case of no early notice, extra charge applies. In particular, a delay shorter than up to 29 minutes is free of charge. The rate of a daily rental applies to delays longer than 30 minutes.
Yes, you do. If you realize a problem, not present upon pick-up, you should inform us before drop-off.
During your car rental in Corfu Island
The rental cars including four-wheel drive vehicles are to be used on asphalt road. Off-Road drive is not covered under the contract. You should not drive off-road.
Hermes cars are not permitted to be taken out of the island of Corfu.
A written license issued by Hermes car hire. is necessary, in order to transport a car on the boat. The rental car is not under damage or loss waiver, during sea transport. Clients wishing to drive the car out of Corfu should let us know in advance and must pay Plus an extra charge is required for road service and kms-mileage of mainland and other Islands (Rate varies according to vehicle category). An open card is required for safety reasons.
Taking the Hermes car outside of the National borders of Greece is prohibited.
Hermes Car Hire.provides 24/7 roadside assistance. In case of car breakdown, just give us a call and a team of experienced mechanical engineers will take care the rest. Also in case of an accident, you must call the police immediately and then make contact with Hermes Cars. Keep in mind to file an Accident Report along with the third party motor vehicle driver, if involved, so you can claim the car damage waiver. ( The driver must write down the license plate of the vehicle that he had the incident, the full name of the driver, his telephone number and the name of the insurance company that covers the other vehicle. Then he must submit a written declaration HERMES CAR HIRE stating the exact incident and how the accident happened ).
